Swordfish fillet

A tasty and delicious fish. With this recipes you are capable of conquering everyone.


  • 1 cylindrical swordfish fillet of about 600 g
  • 1 untreated lemon plus a few slices for garnish
  • fresh oregano
  • chili powder
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt


In a bowl, prepare a marinade by emulsifying a few tablespoons of oil with a fork with the filtered juice and grated lemon peel, a few washed and dried oregano leaves, salt and pepper to taste.

Immerse the swordfish in the emulsion obtained and let it marinate for 5 minutes on each side.

After this time, drain the fillet from the marinade, dry it and stuff the peeled garlic cloves into the pulp.

Bake the swordfish in a hot oven at 200°C for 10 minutes, then wet it with the marinade and leave it in the oven for another 10 minutes at a moderate temperature or until cooked.

Arrange the swordfish in a serving dish and serve warm, garnishing with lemon wedges and oregano leaves to taste.

Pair the dish with a gentle but well-characterized white wine, such as Vitovska.
